Can I install a whole house surge protector myself safely?

Installing a whole-house surge protector yourself is not recommended; it requires work inside your breaker panel with shock and arc-flash risk. Our licensed technicians install panel-level surge protection right into your breaker box and first assess your wiring, in-home electronics, and outside conditions to recommend the right model. We can pair surge protection with panel or grounding upgrades when needed. Power strips do not handle large external surges. Service available in Minneapolis and Maple Grove.
